With over 35 years of experience in International Trade, I’ve had the opportunity to dive deep into every layer of the industry. My career spans both exporting companies and logistics service providers, giving me a well-rounded perspective of global trade from both ends.
On the export side, I’ve managed the international movement of a wide range of products, including leather goods, terry towels, engineering and consumer goods, agricultural commodities, chemicals, cotton made-ups, and more. On the logistics front, my experience spans ocean freight forwarding, customs broking, trucking, and multi-modal transport services.
I’ve worked with organizations of all sizes—from nimble startups to large multinational corporations—taking on leadership roles, managing teams, and assuming full P&L responsibilities. I’ve also had the opportunity to travel extensively, building lasting partnerships and delivering impactful results across various international markets. Over the years, I’ve led and contributed to several rewarding projects in international logistics, always focused on delivering meaningful outcomes.
This wide-ranging experience has helped me develop an in-depth, up-to-date understanding of international trade and logistics. I read regularly articles on the websites of International Chamber of Commerce and World Trade Organization. This way my information about International trade is always correct and updated.
Outside of my professional work, I’m passionate about writing. I write in both Marathi, my mother tongue, and English. I’ve published three books in Marathi and written over a hundred articles covering a variety of topics—ranging from fiction and short stories to translations, environmental themes, and trade-related commentary. Currently, I write a biweekly newsletter for Interport Global Logistics.
